Despre Liviu Taloi

Liviu Taloi – consultant pe comert electronic inca din anul 2004 cu experienta in activitatile de zi cu zi ale magazinelor online romanesti. In perioada 2004 – 2006 a fost PR Manager la eMAG. Dupa incetarea colaborarii cu eMAG a acordat servicii de consultanta specifica principalelor magazine online din Romania, in domeniile IT&C, imobiliare, turism, bricolaj, cadouri, carti.

In anul 2006 a participat la realizarea primului studiu guvernamental legat de comertul electronic, comandat de MCTI, unde a pus bazele codului de conduita adresat comerciantilor online, un sistem de bune practici care a dus in final la elaborarea unui draft de proiect pentru Marca de Incredere in cadrul ANEC – Asociatia Nationala pentru E-Commerce, al carui membru fondator este.

A promovat si pledat in multe conferinte cauza comertului online romanesc, acordand premii pentru conferintele FinMedia pentru cel mai bun magazin online al anului. In anul 2007 la Gala Premiilor eCommerce a prezentat in premiera studii de uzabilitate efectuate pe magazinele online concurente.

In anul 2008 a sustinut mai multe traininguri adresate comerciantilor online sub titulatura iSell – training de comert electronic. Ca membru ANEC si APTI a promovat in randurile comerciantilor programul POS CCE de finantare, participand la mai multe sedinte lucrative unde a facut informari despre acest program de finantare

Liviu Taloi was part of the team who launched today’s most powerful Romanian online store – eMag.ro, where he was a PR Manager for 3 years.

Since 2006, Taloi founded the company WebAudit specialized in providing consultancy in electronic-commerce for Romanian online shops. As a consultant, Taloi was practically a Project Manager for each client, his main activities regarding: analyzing and solving usability and functionality problems, growing conversion rate, testing consumers behavior with Google Website Optimizer and other tools, administrating all the departments of an online shop and even creating online advertising campaigns, measuring the return of investment too.

Together with Andrei Radu, Liviu Taloi developed the methodology and organized the usability tests for Romanian eCommerce Awards Festival (GPeC) since 2007 until now. Based on international standards, the purpose of usability tests was to identify main problems faced by regular users when they are trying to buy something online.

In the last 3 years, Liviu Taloi offered consultancy to more than 20 Romanian online shops. Most of them are now leaders on their market niche.

Except consultancy and running usability tests, Taloi is also a speaker at conferences and e-commerce workshops, being very appreciated by audience. He also writes articles and market analysis for different online and printed publications. In 2008, Liviu Taloi was lecturer at the first Romanian E-Commerce workshop called “iSell” and also he was lecturer at the first Online workshops called “WebSell” – a series of 7 webinars regarding major problems of an online shop.

Taloi was part of the team who developed the E-Commerce Study requested by ANCOM in October 2008 and the Romanian E-Commerce Study in 2006 at the request of MCTI.
